Group Rate and discounts
A group of 8 or more may schedule a class for any day. The organizer of a group of 10 or more gets enrollment fees waived.
Missouri and Florida Conceal Carry
The Conceal Carry Weapons Class is designed to jump start your learning, covering the laws in the Revised Statues of Missouri, fundamentals of pistol shooting, marksmanship, cleaning, care and selection of a concealable firearm. A live fire practice session is given before qualifications.
NRA-Basic Rifle
Teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting
NRA- Basic Pistol
The first course in the series is the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course, which develops in the student the basic skills of handling, shooting, cleaning the firearm, as well as a thorough grounding in firearms safety.
NRA-Personal Protection Inside the Home
The second course in this series is the NRA Basics of Personal Protection In The Home Course, this course builds on the skills already learned in the Basic Pistol Shooting Course. In the second course, participants learn to use a defense or flash sight picture, to fire both single and aimed pairs from various shooting positions to shooting using a center-of-mass hold, to effectively use cover and concealment, and to employ point-shooting and multiple target engagement techniques. Also covered are techniques for improving awareness and promoting mental preparation, method of enhancing home safety without a firearm, and legal aspects of the use of deadly force in self-defense.
NRA-Personal Protection Outside the Home
The third course in this series is the NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home Course. This course builds on the knowledge, skills and attitudes learned in the NRA Basics of Personal Protection Inside the Home. Participants must also understand the basic legal concepts relating to the use of firearms in self-defense, and must know and observe not only general gun safety rules, but also those safety principles that are a specific to defensive situations. Prospective participants can demonstrate that they have the requisite knowledge, skilled, and attitude by having completed Personal Protection Inside the Home.
